GRAZING PLAN MENTOR
The Canadian Forage and Grassland Association is the national voice for all sectors of the forage and grassland industry. They offer a variety of resources to forage producers and also help to administer the federal On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) program, which provides cost-share coverage and incentive for producers to improve forage stands and implement rotational grazing plans by reimbursing pre-approved fence and water infrastructure costs.
PLANNING- rotational grazing improves your ability to manage your grass during drought, improves pasture productivity and enhances soil health. Having a plan allows you to confidently manage your pasture resources and pivot with changing growing conditions.
